1st to clarify the reason I wrote this essay. I have been wagering on the internet or at physical betting houses for many years. I have learned, the dependency can take a hold of you and you won’t even notice it until you are penniless. Particularly if you’re on a winning streak. I have gone through many tens of thousands of dollars in only a tiny amount of time and to this day on occasion, I will go too far. It seems you’re just having fun until you start to be aware of your defeats and the guilt sets in, and then you keep telling yourself "I can win it back" repeatedly. It never works. Then you feel sick in your gut and the more you try the faster you are deprived.
When you notice that you’re up, remain on the UP! When you begin to lose, do not tell yourself, "well just maybe just one more" and again and again, trust me, this logic RARELY ever operates. Say you are betting on slots, have a bankroll set aside before beginning your play. DO NOT go over that boundary, regardless how alluring. If you actually win, put that in a different pot. Don’t use your winnings no matter what. As soon as you have played through your primary set limit, bail out. Head out, regardless if it is online or at a land-based casino, don’t stay around. Always keep in mind, there is going to be a different day, another time.
Always remember, gambling should be FUN not exhausting, nauseating work! If you are not having fun yourself, you don’t belong there. If youcannot afford the loss, don’t even start.
