As an ambitious player, I have learned a couple of important lessons while playing over the the last couple of years. Whether you prefer to wagering at the ‘bricks and mortar’ casinos or the many net casinos. Here are my golden rules of betting, many of which may be considered common sense, but if abide by they will help you go a long way to departing with a sense of enjoyment.
Rule one: Go into a casino with a set value that you are ready and are able to manage to wager – How much would it cost for a night out on diner, cocktails, entrance fees and tips? This is an excellent number to use.
Rule two: Do not take your debit card out with you – or any means of getting cash out. Do not worry about money for the taxi if you burn all of it; most taxi operators, particularly the cabs hailed through casinos, will take you to your apartment and are more than happy to wait for the moolah when you get home.
Rule 3: Stick to your predetermined threshold. I constantly think of what I’d love to purchase if I profit. The previous time I was able to go, I concluded I’d really would like to purchase a new digital SLR camera which retailed at $400, so that was my set limit. As soon as I reached this number, I quit. Just quit. Even if Clairvoyant Carla herself gives you the next number for the roulette wheel, pay no attention to her and say goodbye. Head out safe in the knowledge that you will be heading into the city and acquiring a great brand-new toy!
Rule 4: Have a good time. When you’re "effervescent" you usually will profit. It is a reality. I do not understand why, but it clearly is. Once it becomes a commitment, or you are simply gambling to gain $$$$ you have lost, you will certainly lose more. When you’re winning, experiencing a great time with your friends, or your boyfriend, you usually will win even more.
